Since 1999, Beechwood partners Jim Fileccia & Brian McLaughlin have devoted themselves to working with clients to design + build homes with lasting character – beautiful spaces that are comfortable, refined, and technically superior.

Jim Fileccia:   Founding Partner

Jim has recently taken over all aspects of Beechwood’s operations, as longtime business partner Brian has retired. From the planning phase (often collaborating with architects and designers to fine-tune building plans and budgets), through all aspects of contracting, scheduling, billing, and selections, he is your point of contact in the office, and on-site managing the construction of your home. With 35+ years of building experience rooted in project management, framing, and finish carpentry, he sees the big picture and the fine details to be handled.  He’s particularly creative with site layouts, framing solutions, and complex mechanical set-ups.  As a Certified Green Professional, he’s constantly focused on ensuring the building is as beautiful behind the drywall as it will be as a finished residence.  Jim has ongoing contact with our customers, suppliers and contractors to keep the projects running smoothly.  He’s a dedicated Cross-fit guy, loves U of M sports, and lives in Dexter with his family.
